This picture is so accurate. I think animals are better than human beings though. U can’t even compare the two.  Animals protect and take care of their own race at least, while we as human beings has completely failed in doing so.

I have some thoughts and ideas that I want to share with me. I’ve never thought about or seen society from this perspective, but last night I did.

Have you ever thought about how much society cares about our Earth? About global temperature. Ecology. Save the earth. It is our prime concern, even after all war, lack of respect, famine and terrorism. The main world concern right now is thinking about how we should save all the poor polar bears, the ozone hole being stretched - In other words; everything that human society has created. We are the criminals here.
Everything seems to be focusing on one thing: saving the earth. All charity galas, H&M’s “limited edition” collections. Clothing made from organic fabrics. It’s great that we are trying to “save” our planet. But what do we save our earth from anyway? How can we be so stupid, really… The earth is, always has been and will always be stronger than us. We humans can not destroy the Earth, because we are weaker than the Earth.

Why doesn’t anybody talk about not allowing the earth to destroy us? Because to “save the earth” gives us a sense of power. While “not letting earth to destroy us” implies that you yourself need to scan your soul, and that means that you yourself must think and act differently. And we’re too lazy and empty for that.

Why are we talking about saving the earth, when in fact humanity needs to be saved? How ridiculous. With that said, to “save the earth” gives us a sense of power. Before we try to save a situation, which in this case is to save the earth, we should first of all save ourselves.

asker was it easy for u to wear veil in ur country of staying?

In my early teens when I was wearing the veil/hijab, I didn’t ever think about how people saw me, or what they thought about me. I didn’t even know what the world thought about me, because I wasn’t educated about the world in general. I didn’t even know that everyone put the blame for 9/11 on Muslims. But as I learned more about Islam and this society, I got familiar to how this world really works. I had no idea that people actually saw me as an oppressed human being.  But as I grew older and read more and more about Islam and the veil in Islam, I just got more and more confident about the veil. I started to feel as if I’m wearing a crown on my head. The veil really is my crown that I wear everyday.  When you know why you do something, and when you love what you are doing, you’ll never care what people say or think. Because you know why you’re doing it, and therefore people’s opinions won’t matter to you.

People may think I’m brainwashed for wearing the veil, but I just laugh at such people. How brainwashed must a human being be to think that every single Muslim woman in the world is forced to wear the veil? What about converts? Who forced them?

I may be a little off topic now.. But yes. It’s easy for me to wear the hijab/veil. Because I know why I wear it, and who I’m wearing it for. It’s a part of who I am, and it’s my freedom. I love everything about it.
